This website’s main focus is the ancient graveyard of St Giles Hill, located on St Giles Hill Winchester and accessed from the Alresford Road. The graveyard is maintained by a local community group: Friends of St Giles Hill Graveyard.

This website has been in operation since 2014, initially focusing on the natural history, conservation, and heritage of St Giles Hill, Magdalen Hill Down, St Giles Hill Graveyard, and the surrounding area of Winchester. Since 2019, when Friends of St Giles Hill Graveyard (FSGHG) was established, the focus has shifted, and the website now highlights St Giles Hill Graveyard and the work of FSGHG.
