The main focus of this website is the ancient graveyard of St Giles Hill located on St Giles Hill Winchester and accessed from the Alresford Road.The graveyard is maintained by a local community group: Friends of St Giles Hill Graveyard.

This website has been in operation since 2014, published with the original focus of the natural history, conservation,and heritage of St Giles Hill, Magdalen Hill Down, St Giles Hill Graveyard. graveyard and the surrounding area of Winchester. Since 2019 when Friends of St Giles Hill Graveyard (FSGHG) came into being, the focus has changed, and the website now spotlights St Giles Hill Graveyard and the work of FSGHG.

The owner of this website is Dr David Stewart who is also the webmaster and the provider of most information (contact dave@stgileshill.org.uk).
