FSGHG – First workday of 2023 – Saturday 7th January

Our first workday of 2023 is on Saturday 7th January from 10:00 until 13:00.
Main task: –
Main task:
- We now have Gabion baskets. They need to be constructed and placed into position. Then we can begin filling them with stone, flint, and brick, etc. The idea of this is to remove obstacles from areas of the graveyard where strimming and mowing is difficult. Once the gabions are filled, they will be converted into seats.
- Some of the shrubs need to be cut back.
- There are still a few old stumps to dig out.
As usual please sign in at the log seating area in the centre of the graveyard when you arrive to get a safety briefing.
