Friends of St Giles Hill Graveyard workday 4th February 10:00 to 13:00

Our next workday is on Saturday 4th February from 10:00 until 13:00.
Main task:
- We hope to construct two more gabions and fill them with stone, flint, brick, etc. The idea is to remove obstacles from areas of the graveyard where strimming and mowing is difficult. We have lengths of wood for the seat tops. If we can get them cut before the 4th, they can be attached to the gabion tops.
- Clear the SE and SW corners of the graveyard of debris ready to prepare the areas for spring seeding.
- Pack piles of cut vegetation into bags and put hazel canes into dead hedges (cut last time).
- There are still a few old stumps to dig out.
