FSGHG workday 11th April 2026

It’s a week later because of Easter.

Main task: –

• Over the last month, we have been planting a few small trees and a lot of shrubs courtesy of a donation by construction company MCS. Some tidying up will be necessary, including installing guards to prevent damage from strimmers.
• We have recently received delivery of specialist wildflower seed courtesy of a WCC community grant. Over the next few weeks, we will need to prepare the ground and sow this seed.
• Vegetation is beginning to grow – mowing and/or strimming may be necessary.
• There are still a couple of large stumps we would like to remove.

Tea, coffee, and snacks will be served. We would love to see you even if it’s for a short time.

Please sign in at the Gabion seating area in the centre of the graveyard when you arrive to get a safety briefing.
