FSGHG workday – 5th April

Our next scheduled workday will be on 5th April.
Tasks for April:
- Preparing ground for seed sowing. Hampshire Forest Partnership have donated wildflower seed to Friends of St Giles Hill Graveyard. This is part of the Linking Leaves wildflower seed project. The initiative is supported by HFP in collaboration with Wildflower Turf Ltd.
- General “weeding” – remove invasive plants (Hogweed etc).
- We have moved a lot of woodchips since the beginning of the year – but there are still woodchips to be moved.
- Stump removal.
Coffee and biscuits will be served.
As usual, please sign in at the Gabion seating area in the centre of the graveyard when you arrive for a safety briefing.
